Shared hosting came out as an alternative for all those people who wanted to host up websites on the same server and the reason for the success of this was due to the price tag it always had with itself. Today as we see the major players who are there on the web, offering shared hosting, there are many things that should be kept in consideration before a person should go ahead and buy an annual package for hosting up his/her website.
Shared hosting has always had its own disadvantages and the main ones that really affect include, loads of traffic to a website on the same server that would make your website go unstable or invisible. Another big thing is if all other websites on the shared host are sort of the illegal/un-ethical ones then the whole IP address may be restricted by Google which may affect your site. For this I probably think that Matt Cutts from Google has to say something to us. Have a look
So for all those people who were afraid of going ahead with shared hosting may now think over once and then proceed. Apart from all the leading hosts we see these days Bluehost is one of those which is making significant difference to all those who are using their services. As it has been previous reported there are about 70,000 domains that join Bluehost every month. There may be too many things to tell about, even a lot of other servers may also tell about the hundreds of services they provide all free, but the ones which matter are the ones which really make a difference to the daily working of a website. The more the key things remain fine the smoothness in operating the website remains simple.
Also previously I had come out with a video that showed the server system of the company and how they are managed it.
So some of the features that I really like in Bluehost that is undisputedly amazing are :
# One Package
The company would not consider confusing you by showing 3 or 4 packages of Webhosting and then asking you to compare all the features that are clubbed up in them. Instead there is only one package for shared hosting and nothing more than that, making the confusion go away and increasing the flexibility and reliability of the service.
# Simple Scripts
Most of us who are using shared services are the ones who use more of WordPress or Drupal or any such similar CMS for managing their day-to-day activities. It is sort of obvious that these sites don’t have too many of developers or staff as such so the CMS really plays an important part, as it manages not only the content but also the design, functionality as well as the security which plays an important role.
Bluehost account comes up with SimpleScripts which is a service that allows one click installation of most of the CMS. To have a look at the various of the web scripts visit here. I am sure that this would be surely including your script. This is important as a newbie may find difficulity is operating FTP and various of the other services to upload scripts and linking them up with the mySQL databases that they create.
# Unmlimited in Every Sense
Now this is what that really sounds nice to us, there is a simple terms that one has to follow up with that says that the shared hosting should not be used as a file storage space or somehting like that but for most of the web activities this type of hosting is enough. What is the most important part is unlimited domains, unlimited databases, unlimited email accounts and many other basic requirement things. Bluehost has never been restricting these services for the people and hence is asking them to use as much as they want to.
# Excellent Services
Why do I say this? Because I have tried this. Problems are inevitable for any website in the world, sometime or the other some or the other script may damage any part of the website in any manner. You really don’t have to worry here, because Bluehost service team is so experienced and expertised in this field that within a few minutes all your problems would vanish off and your site would be back to normal form.
# No Downtime
At various occassions the company has mentioned that they have 99% uptime for all the sites that are running under them, but as my experince says it is 100% uptime. In fact the time they go ahead for maintainance there is hardly any downtime(a few seconds) and that only happens once is 3-4 years.
# Price !
This is the biggest thing that matters and may be you were looking forward to this point somewhere. Previously Bluehost used to come up with $7 a month hosting but now they have allowed $4($3.39) per month hosting fees. According to me this remains one of the best prices for hosting ever.
Apart from all this above this is the full list that they provide for all the users. Some of them that may sound exciting are Free domain and complete support for SSL and SSH. You find anything questionable please join Bluehost of Live Chat. Users may aalso have a Live demo of the complete working on their demo server that is free !
The above description is my 3 years continous experience with Bluehost and there team. I probably feel that these are really the core things that a web designer or developer should think about instead of any other features that other companies may go ahead with.
If you feel satisfies with all this please considering Signing up for them.
P.S. I don’t Work for Bluehost, I’m just a client !

This sharing is very important for me. Whatever discusses on the video is very helpful to increase site ranking effective. I’ll look forward for more updates. Thanks
Ur welcome & Thanks for your view on this

Hey Sandeep,
A Good Post and I like the Video you have Posted. I would Like to Share something about Hosting Companies whether its a BlueHost or Hostgator.
As per your Statement BlueHost Rarely Go Down and They are 100% Uptime. I was having a Blog which had only 20 to 30 Posts and Traffic was not that Great and I was Using Shared Hosting After 15 days of taking their service I found in one Morning Site was Suspended So I asked the Support Team that why this Happened so they Told me We are getting Lots of Traffic But in My Google Analytics account it was less than 100 Per day. Then I moved my Site to other Hosting and they didn’t refunded me my money as I got chance to Host my Site on their server for only 15 days.
This incident was about 3 yrs. In Last Year My Client Had a Blog which was over BlueHost but whenever you try to browse her site it was either slow or down and sometimes Few data Lost so most of the time she call the support they will reply and ask apology during maintenance your data has been Lost. This is not one time when this continues for 3 to 4 times we have moved her site from BlueHost to another Hosting.
Another Fact its for Most of the Hosting Companies…. they always write about 99% or 99.99% Up time Guarantee and there is no hidden fees etc… But have you ever seen any Hosting Company ever wrote in their Feature List about CPU Usage charges or any clause regarding CPU Usage? I think No one written about this but this is the Most Vital thing…. for dedicated server or VPS server there is no issue but for shared Hosting packs there is a Hidden clause which is 4% CPU usage, if you will get more traffic or for any reason your site script consumed little bit resources they will shoot you a mail regarding CPU usage and ask you to upgrade your Hosting Plan.
I have worked with many new as well as Renowned Hosting company starting from India to other Foreign countries Hosting. BlueHost or Hostgator is no bad but when I saw you wrote its 100% live and there is very rare down time so it force me to write this fact here, because its true thing and I was working with few Hosting Companies so I know few Hidden things about Hosting companies….
Thanks for the Gr8 Post and Keep it Up. I’m going to subscribe to your Newsletter.

Hi Debasis

First of all thanks a lot for spending your time trying to get the facts out to the people. Luckily till now I didn’t have any problems with downtime, and as you say it was about 3-4 years ago, I think they really tried improving their server and till a certain extent did well with it.And the second thing you write about the hidden fees things is also true, I’ve seen that happening a lot of times with various of the companies.
I would also encourage if you list down some other hosting companies you feel are good, so we may go ahead and try them out and review them soon.
whatever nothing can be perfect, and thanks for subscribing.
Have a nice time blogging
